I've been away since last year but now I'm back. I just finished school and just got internet again so I'll be posting more. I will be posting some work I've done over last semester. Most of it will be what I did in class because I didn't have alot of free time to do anything else. I took figure drawing and my teacher was awesome! I learned so much and can't wait to draw my own creations. Thank you to all my followers new and old.

Sorry I've been MIA I'm doing great. The reason I haven't posted anything lately is because I moved from California to Texas. I have a new job that takes up alot of my time. Thanks for your concern How have you been?

I've been okay. I am in school so I can't draw as much as I would like to as well. Recently, I've been thinking about getting in Watercolors but I get scared when I use them because I feel like I am not going to use them right and mess up the image. I had one art teacher that told me every time I use watercolors, to use more water. For some reason, I could not color anything to her liking.
That's awesome that you want to try new mediums! You shouldn't be scared, go for it. I knop I've tried so many mediums and thats how I've found out what I like and what I'm good with.What I did to get over my fear of ruining my drawing was purchase a light box and used it to trace my original drawing onto a new sheet of paper, that way if I did mess it up I still had the original. Or you can even scan the pic and make copies to color.
You're always going to have those teachers or people that want you to conform to what they think is the right way to do it. But the thing with art there are no rules, there is no right or wrong way. I've always had to deal with critques of my work, and trying to do what I thought others would like. It wasn't til I started drawing what I liked or what I thought would be cool that's when I found my own style. Practice your painting and create something your happy with.
